Beyond The Job Description

We find out what the job is really like before you interview.

In behavioral health, a job post rarely tells you what decides whether you stay: the caseload, the time you get for notes, the supervision you need for licensure, and who backs you up on a hard day.

We ask those questions before we bring you a role, so you can decide with the facts.

Caseload

How many clients, how acute, and how many groups each week?

Clinical Supervision

Will they supervise your hours toward full licensure?

Documentation Time

Is time for notes built into the schedule?

Crisis Support

Who backs you up when a session or a shift goes wrong?

Can I work toward full licensure in a job you find me?

Yes, where the employer provides supervision. In Arizona, associate counselors (LAC), associate marriage and family therapists (LAMFT) and associate addiction counselors may practice only under direct supervision, and a licensed master social worker (LMSW) may provide clinical services only under direct supervision.

Do behavioral health technicians need a license in Arizona?

No. The behavioral health board does not license behavioral health technicians who work for an agency licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services. BHTs work with clinical oversight from a licensed behavioral health professional, and each employer sets its own requirements for the role.

Does it cost me anything?

No. As a candidate, there is no cost to you.
