We may also use information for another purpose disclosed when it is collected or with your consent.

3. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:

  • Employers and clients. We may disclose candidate information to current or prospective employers and clients for recruiting, evaluation, interview, placement, or workforce-management purposes. We do not disclose your resume to a prospective employer when you have instructed us not to do so.

  • Service providers. We may disclose information to vendors that provide website hosting, cloud storage, applicant tracking, customer-relationship management, forms, communications, scheduling, analytics, security, background screening, credential verification, payment processing, legal, accounting, and other business services. These providers may use information only as permitted by their agreements with us and applicable law.

  • Business partners. We may disclose information to recruiting, staffing, referral, or other partners when needed to provide the Services or when you direct or authorize us to do so.

  • Government authorities and other parties for legal reasons. We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law, a subpoena, court order, or other legal process; protect rights, safety, or property; investigate fraud or security incidents; or enforce our agreements.

  • Parties to a business transaction. Information may be disclosed in connection with an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

  • Other parties at your direction or with your consent.

We may use and disclose aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, subject to applicable law. We will not attempt to reidentify information that we maintain as de-identified except as permitted by law.

4. Recruiting and Candidate Information

Submitting an application or communicating with HealthOp does not guarantee an interview, referral, placement, or offer of employment. HealthOp may act as a recruiter for an employer or may support an employer's talent-acquisition process. The employer makes its own hiring decisions and may separately collect and process your information under its own privacy practices.

We may retain and use candidate information to consider you for the position for which you applied and for other opportunities that may be relevant to your background. You may ask us to stop considering you for future opportunities or request deletion of your information as described below, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.

If we use automated tools to assist with sourcing, organizing, matching, scheduling, or screening, we will provide any notice, consent, or opportunity for review required by applicable law. Unless otherwise disclosed, final hiring and placement decisions are not made solely by HealthOp through automated processing.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate and secure our website, remember preferences, understand website traffic and performance, and improve our Services. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although blocking some cookies may affect website functionality.

6. Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not sell candidate resumes, application information, mobile telephone numbers, or mobile opt-in information. We also do not knowingly sell the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.

7. Email, Telephone, and Text Messages

We may contact you by email, telephone, or text message about an inquiry, application, recruiting opportunity, client relationship, or service. Where required, we will obtain consent before sending marketing communications.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message. You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP. For help with text messages, reply HELP or contact us using the information below. Message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing services or being considered for an opportunity.

We do not sell or share mobile telephone numbers, text-message originator opt-in data, or consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose this information to service providers that help us deliver messages, but only as necessary to provide those services.

Opting out of marketing communications will not prevent us from sending non-marketing messages, such as communications about an active application, interview, placement, account, transaction, or service request.

8. Healthcare Information and HIPAA

HealthOp provides healthcare recruiting, consulting, talent-acquisition, and staffing-related services, but the HealthOp website is not intended for patient care, medical advice, or the submission of patient records. Please do not submit protected health information, patient records, or other patient-specific medical information through our general website forms, candidate forms, email, or text messages.

HealthOp is not a healthcare provider, and personal information collected through our website or recruiting activities is not necessarily protected by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ("HIPAA"). If HealthOp receives or processes protected health information on behalf of a healthcare client in a capacity governed by HIPAA, that information will be handled under the applicable client agreement, business associate agreement, and HIPAA requirements rather than solely under this Privacy Policy.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide Services, maintain business and recruiting records, consider candidates for current or future opportunities, comply with legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the nature of our relationship, legal requirements, and operational needs. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no system, transmission, or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use caution when sending sensitive information electronically and do not send patient records or unnecessary sensitive information through general website forms or ordinary email.

We will not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising a privacy right. Certain information may be exempt from a request, including information we must retain to comply with law, protect rights, prevent fraud, complete a transaction, or maintain appropriate recruiting and business records.

Residents of jurisdictions outside the United States may have additional rights under local law, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing and to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.

12. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites and platforms, including job boards, applicant-tracking systems, social networks, and form providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies before submitting personal information.

13. Children's Privacy

Our Services are intended for businesses and individuals seeking professional opportunities and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

14. International Data Transfers

HealthOp is based in the United States. If you access the Services from another country, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
