Employers•Nurse Practitioner & PA Recruiting

Finding APPs who seamlessly match your clinical workflow.

Hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is about more than just verifying a license. It’s about finding a provider whose need for autonomy perfectly aligns with your physicians’ supervisory style. We headhunt top-tier APPs designed for your specific practice environment.

Our APP Vetting Protocol

  • Supervisory Alignment

Do they want high autonomy, or do they prefer close collaboration with an MD? We verify the fit.

  • Volume Readiness

We assess their past clinical environments to ensure they can handle your daily patient load safely.

  • Scope & Procedural Skills

We confirm exactly what procedures they are currently credentialed to perform independently.

The Core Dilemma

An APP is only effective if they fit your operational model.

Hiring an experienced NP who desires full autonomy into a practice where the physician micromanages every chart is a recipe for disaster. Conversely, hiring a new-grad PA into a high-volume clinic without a structured ramp-up will lead to immediate burnout.

We don't just match credentials; we match clinical operations. We headhunt APPs who understand your specific practice demands and thrive under your exact leadership style.

Dermatology NP: Autonomy-Led Match

The Mandate

A dermatology practice had lost two NPs inside a year. Both had been hired on credentials and pay, and both left citing how closely their charts were reviewed.

The Alignment

We treated supervisory style as the primary screen rather than a footnote. Candidates were asked directly how much oversight they wanted, and the physician was asked how much they intended to give. The match we presented had both answering the same way.

Questions about hiring NPs and PAs

Do nurse practitioners need physician supervision in Arizona?

Arizona law defines a nurse practitioner's scope to include making independent decisions, diagnosing and prescribing, and it names no requirement for physician supervision or a collaborative agreement.

So for a practice, oversight is a question of fit, not of law: how much collaboration a given NP wants, and how much your physicians intend to give. That is the first thing we screen for.

Does a physician assistant need a supervising physician in Arizona?

A PA with at least 8,000 hours of clinical practice certified by the Arizona Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants is not required to practice under a supervision agreement. They must still collaborate with, consult with or refer to other professionals as a patient's condition requires.

A PA with fewer hours works under a signed supervision agreement.

Which advanced practice roles do you recruit?

Nurse practitioners, including family, psychiatric, adult-gerontology, dermatology and critical care NPs. Physician assistants for urgent care and family practice, and as surgical first assists in orthopedics and spine.

We also place certified nurse midwives, nurse anesthetists and clinical nurse specialists.

How do you match an NP or PA to a practice?

On three things. Supervisory alignment: does the provider want high autonomy, or close collaboration with a physician? Volume readiness: can they safely handle your daily patient load? Scope and procedural skills: which procedures are they credentialed to perform independently today?
